I am a PhD student at the University of Ljubljana (Slovenia), where I also work as a teaching assistant for courses in bioinformatics and introductory Python programming.
My research focuses on unsupervised representation learning, particularly dimensionality reduction for visualization and temporal embeddings, with applications to large-scale biomedical datasets.
You may know some of my open-source work, including the openTSNE and VERA libraries for low-dimensional embeddings, as well as my contributions to the Orange data-mining toolkit.
Outside of work, I enjoy travelling, hiking, and photography.
